About Me!
My name is Haris, and I hold a Bachelor’s Honours degree in Filmmaking, following my studies in Creative Media Production at college. I have over five years of experience with Final Cut Pro and more than three years of expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro. Throughout my career, I have directed several short films, with many of my most notable projects bearing my directorial signature. Additionally, I have contributed as a cinematographer to various short films and music videos, further honing my craft in the visual storytelling process.
My Journey
As a result of my successful YouTube channel, I discovered my passion for filmmaking. I enjoyed making gaming videos, vlogs, compilations, montages, and much more… all from scratch!
Despite not being very consistent, I was able to gain over 9,000 subscribers in a limited period of time due to my quality content. My focus shifted from general YouTube videos to creating short films and I began collaborating with classmates on short film projects during my college course.
During this experience, I was given the opportunity to learn much more about media and production in-depth, and it was a very motivating learning curve for me. My filmmaking passion grew as a result, and I was able to build an outstanding portfolio as a result.
As a result of my portfolio, I was able to gain admission to the course and university of my choice. Currently, I am a third-year student studying filmmaking at one of the best-ranked universities in the United Kingdom.
