Aldershot Town Women
Shooting a season, and turning it round the same day.
Content creator for a women’s football team. I shoot the matchdays and the training, cut the Reels and deliver them the same day, while the result is still the thing people are talking about. Every month since July 2026.
What the club says
Haris has been working with Aldershot Women Football Club this season and has been a dream to work with. Always bringing high quality photos that we are very privileged to have and we can't wait to work with Haris more in the future. We know he will always deliver great photos and videos and we can't recommend him highly enough.
The role
I make the content the team posts.
I am the content creator for the women’s team. I shoot their home matchdays, their Tuesday training and their gym sessions, cut the Reels, grade the stills and hand over a finished gallery the club can post from straight away.
It is a producer brief, not an admin one. The club runs its own feed and posts its own graphics and video alongside mine. What I control is the work itself: what I shoot on the day, how it is cut, and what I hand over. I have been doing it every month since July 2026.
Most of what I shoot ends up on the feed. For a team whose match is seen by the people in the ground, the content is how everyone else sees them.

The piece that matters
The matchday Reel.
Shot live through the fixture on the same camera I was taking stills on, then cut and delivered the same day rather than the following week.
68.7% of its viewers were not following the account. For a team whose problem is being found rather than being liked, that is the number worth having.
- No second shooter and no separate video operator. One person covering both.
- Turned round the same day, by my own standard rather than a deadline someone set.
- Cut for the phone, where the team’s audience actually is.

Opening frame. The full Reel plays further down, with the rest of them.
The Reels
Three cuts off the same season.
All shot on the camera I was taking stills on, cut on the phone format the team’s audience actually watches in.
The photography
A season, shot properly.
Matchday
Home fixtures at the SB Stadium. Shot through the game, graded the same night.

Training nights
Tuesdays under the floodlights, wide open and high ISO.

Pre-season and gym
Summer sessions, the gym block and the first fixtures of the season.

Where it goes next
Players on camera.
The photography is established. The gap is video with the players in it rather than behind-the-scenes cuts of a matchday, and that is what I am shooting next.
